FAQ
Where are you going to play?We will play on the Alliance side on an English-speaking EU PvE server.
We don't have enough information yet to decide exactly where we are going to play. What is sure at this stage is that we will play on the Alliance side and on an English-speaking PvE server in Europe. We will update this as more information about the servers becomes available and communicate the server we will start on as soon as we are able to.
How much time do you expect someone to show up every week?Outside of raiding hours we have no attendance expectations.
While we aim to provide everyone with a home to return to, we make no demands on player's time other that the agreed-upon raiding hours. As long as the requirements of the respective raid are fulfilled, raid logging is perfectly fine with us. Most of our members are busy adults and/or have family to take care of, so we build the guild around our real lives and not the other way around.
What are your raiding hours? This is still tbd. Most likely Wednesday and Sunday from 22:00-00:00 CEST.
Our concept of one guild - many raids allows us to adjust the raiding hours to our members' preferences. We're currently still in the recruitment and preparation phase and will align on raiding hours as we get closer to the launch of Classic+. In general, we will probably raid later in the evening to allow everyone to wrap up their real lives before logging into the virtual world. We will communicate our raiding hours as we get closer to the launch. These will most likely include at least one raid on Wednesday and/or Sunday from 22:00-00:00 CEST.
Do you accept group applications?Yes, within limits. Group applications are fine for the guild. Raid invites go out on an individual basis.
Groups smaller than 5 members are fine with us. In the case of larger groups, we will decide on a case-by-case basis. In general, we accept group applications for the guild. Raid invites, however, will only get extended on an individual basis. We believe that it is more important for everyone within the team to place performance and raid setup considerations above individual preferences and legacy relations.
Are you more of a casual or a hardcore guild? We’re both.
We’re seen countless guilds die to the “two-speeds-problem”, the situation where some members want to push harder while others are struggling to keep up. To solve this, we will run multiple raids at different levels of ambition. We’ll run at least one relaxed “we clear everything easy and on time” raid and one “we get Rend buffs on mages for the mp5” elite team. (That’s not a joke. Some of us really did get Rend buffs on their mages in 2019 Classic.) For all raids, performance expectations are communicated clearly and mutually agreed upon.
We run one loot system across raids and allow for people to switch teams to avoid burnout. We want everyone to play at the level they enjoy and we also want to keep all the good people around that we love to goof around with. We’re looking to have fun and take as many people on that journey with us as we can.
It’s a bit complicated but it’s who we are.
